Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Trivet

7" x 7" cork-backed trivet. 

Inspiration: The Greek Orthodox design was adapted from details of the brass altar screen Wright designed in 1956 for the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Intricate intersecting circles with interior, scalloped forms and diamond shapes created a harmonious repeat pattern integral to the icon screen originally designed in gold anodized aluminum. These graceful design elements were also used in other interior design features throughout the building.
